Yesterday, a few us went spend time by a river in Shah Alam, Selangor. It is truly peaceful spend time in such a place, away from the hustle and bustle city. This picture is a glimpse that time.
In the picture, three friends are busy spending time by the river with a large fishing net. One is preparing to throw the net along the water, while another is helping him. Another friend standing behind is smiling and looking at the camera with both hands raised—as if saying, “We are having a lot of fun here!”
The water of the river is a bit murky, probably after the monsoon the water has dragged some soil. The dense green vegetation around, it is like getting lost in nature. A natural beauty of leaves, grass, and vines spread throughout the area. From the picture, it is clear that this place is not very populated. The quiet environment, the calls of birds and the sound of water have created a heavenly atmosphere.
Along with fishing, we enjoyed walking around the trees and enjoying nature. It is not often possible to come into such direct contact with nature in city life.
Such small trips have a huge impact on our lives. It is truly peaceful to separate yourself from technology and artificial life and return to the lap of nature, even for a day. The bond of friendship deepens, the pressure on the mind is slightly lighter.
This picture will remind us of that sweet time, where there is no sign of artificiality—just nature and some genuine smiles.
