Some months ago, the Epstein file documentary was a buzz on the Internet. This was a document with over 6 million pages containing 180,000 images and 2,000 videos which recorded the activities of Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell recording their illicit activities of child trafficking, sexual abuse, rape, and some dehumanizing activities. The personalities recorded in that document are people of high profile and wealthy men.
People demanded justice for the children who were victims and that the men whose names were found in the document be called for questioning, but after a few weeks the case gradually became a thing of the past. The case seemed to have been filed as a case in court, but till date I doubt if any legal action has been taken. Certain people I believe enjoy impunity if they hold certain positions and privileges. The crime on that file would have caused the average or poor man his life or a lifetime in prison, but as a high profile man or wealthy man with certain power, they're immune to certain laws and can easily go free from so many crimes.

The court considered the document to have insufficient evidence and somehow believed those men were being framed for the crime—that's how impunity plays, finding excuses to wave away a serious crime in favor of the rich. From this experience, it shows the poor are not safe, the society and children are at risk with this act of impunity. The rich can do anything and go freely without the judiciary giving the people the justice they demand. Until a system is built where even the wealthy and high profile men are judged justly, society and the people would continue to suffer unfair treatment from people in this cadre.
