The beauty of tourist Attractions are the history and heritage they hold. They are often mysteries that leave us with questions, itching to know more about nature and our immediate surroundings.
Nigeria is blessed with so many tourist Attractions, distributed across her states, each with its uniqueness and beauty. I am from Niger state, Nigeria, my state has a few tourists attractions such as the Bina footprint, Zuma Rock, and Gurara waterfall Each of these has a unique history and speculations from people who had lived long before this time.
The Bina footprint is a footprint located on a rock; stories hold that the feet of a traveler who had stayed there to pray bore holes into the rock after consistent days of praying. One will wonder how such is possible. Many tourists travel to go see for themselves how that is possible. It is located in Lapai, Niger state and is worth visiting.
One other tourist Attraction is the Zuma Rock, located in Suleja , Niger state, along Madalla road. The Rock is said to be a hideout for the Gbagyi tribe during a war that broke out many years ago. The incredible height and width of the rock is magnificent. During heavy downpour, the top of the rock was said to ignite fire which made many believe there are evil forces that dwell in it. Kings who die, according to people who see the extraordinary , visit the rock a few hours after their departure. The rock has two bored holes that look like eyes and an opening below it that looks like a mouth. The tourist Attractions may not really have beautiful settings, but listening to their tales may be worth it.
