Experience they say is the best teacher and life, the school. There's a lot I've learned over the years and all the lessons combined have helped me make wiser decisions and avoided peril lying awaits. The major lesson I've learned in life is ; "Never to have high expectations". To people who in the past have had a wrong turn from expectations would say "it's hurt", but it only doesn't hurt, but pile up promises and put one into depression if that was their only hope.

I watched last year drift away with nothing to account for except the restlessness that accompanied my many expectations. Early last year, I made so many plans, hoping I'd have good money from certain projects I was engaged in. I gave my time, resources, and strength, and sometimes had sleepless nights with the hope that something good will come from those sacrifices. Little did I know I was presenting myself to a huge disappointment and hurt. I felt cheated, and having put all my resources into that project made it worse, because the year ended with nothing to show for all the effort and time.
I learned never to expect anything, I learned to always have many plans per adventure. The first, second, or third doesn't work to our favor. I learned nothing is assured and never to rely on anything, I learned the only thing that's ours is that which we have at hand, I learned never to make plans with things that are abstract. All these lessons have helped me to have less expectations and make more plans and to never put all my eggs in one basket.
Expectations kills a lot.
So sorry for what happened.

It's already a past
That's the spirit
My life's mantra has always been, "never expect anything, if you must expect, expect the unexpected", and this has really helped me a lot. It wades my off unnecessary disappointments.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
You've indeed mastered a very important thing in life. It's something one need to learn about life
Yeah, that's correct.
Totally get it fam, it is really painful to see all your dreams and plans disappear before your eyes.
That's actually a great idea. Since we can't control the outcome, at least we should have some backup plans that could help us if things go wrong.
Exactly
