Enjoying a live basketball game after several years, I had almost forgotten how wonderful it is

Greetings friends, thank you for sharing a new post here in the @sportsblock community, undoubtedly the best when it comes to sports. Yesterday, the quarterfinal series of the Venezuelan Professional Basketball Super League (SPB) began, with Guaiqueries de Margarita facing Trotamundos de Carabobo in a best-of-seven series.

It had been a few years since I'd enjoyed a live basketball game, but tonight I decided to go with some friends. I must admit it was difficult because we were a bit far away, but we enjoyed it immensely, and not only because of Guaiqueries' second consecutive victory with a close score. Now they move on to Trotamundos' home court, where they will try to stay alive and bring the series back to the Ciudad de la Asunción Gymnasium.

I was definitely pleasantly surprised by the large crowd that came out to support the Guaiqueries de Margarita. My fellow Hivers, it was truly enjoyable to see a live game again. I hope they can advance and that I have the chance to enjoy another game. One detail I can't overlook is that I hardly know any of the players—maybe three or four between the two teams—but that didn't stop me from enjoying a completely different experience from what I'm used to.

I'll sign off by thanking the @sportsblock community for their support, and I'll try to attend more sporting events to share them here with all of you Hivers, because we also support national talent in sports.
