What a week!

It's hard to believe it has been over a week since I last wrote a proper post about college basketball. I know I covered it a little bit here and there, but I haven't dedicated a full post to it in a while. That means there is a lot of information for me to pass along to you, so let's get to it!

Tuesday last week Michigan was still ranked #2 in the nation and they had a close scrape with Penn State besting them by just two points 74 to 72. Florida had a huge 92 to 77 upset victory over number 22 Georgia, and Oklahoma State also came away with an upset over number 25 UCF 87 to 76.

Minnesota took down number 19 Iowa in further Big Ten play 70 to 67, and number 22 Kansas had a close scrape with TCU going to overtime, but coming away with the win 104 to 100.

Number 7 Houston also had a close scrape with number 14 Texas Tech, but were able to snag the win 69 to 65.

Last Wednesday there were nine games in the top 25. Providence took number 4 Connecticut into overtime, but came up short 103 to 98.

Clemson got the upset over number 24 SMU 74 to 70, and number 11 Vanderbilt had a huge ranked match up against number 13 Alabama. Vandy got the win 96 to 90.

Thursday night there were only three games in the top 25. Number 12 Michigan State had a nice 76 to 66 win over Northwestern. This was a good improvement over their 19 turn over loss to Nebraska.

There were no games on Friday night, but a ton of action on Saturday.

Florida once again had a huge upset win taking down number 21 Tennessee 91 to 67. Nebraska has moved up to number 10 after their win against MSU and beat Indiana 83 to 77. West Virginia got a nice upset over number 22 Kansas 86 to 75, and in the best news of the weekend, Wisconsin had a monster victory over number 2 Michigan 91 to 88.

Finally, on Saturday Auburn had an upset over number 15 Arkansas 95 to 73, and Texas upset number 13 Alabama 92 to 88.

Sunday gave us only two games in the top 25 and neither of them were upsets.

With no games on Monday, things picked back up on Tuesday night with number 12 Michigan State getting a nice 21 point victory over Indiana 81 to 60. Kansas probably had the biggest upset of the day with a massive win over number 2 Iowa State 84 to 63. That number 2 spot is proving to be a really dangerous place. Florida now finds themselves in the number 19 spot, and Nebraska has climbed to number 8 after a 90 to 55 victory over Oregon.
