My Routine for Productivity

Overtime we adopt some habits for various reasons ranging from comfort, satisfaction, productivity, etc. My daily routine has seen a lot of changes over the years as some things become more or less important and necessary.

Currently, I value sleep, food and some exercise more than any other thing.
These three things play a huge role in my productivity.

Sleep;
I sleep for at least 6 hours daily. This is enough to get me relaxed, refreshed and ready to start the day on a positive note.
It also helps me combat stress.

One thing about quality sleep is that no matter how stressful the day gets, I don't feel tired until it's evening at least.
That's why I don't take my sleep for granted.

Food;
We all know the importance of food but for me, I take it a step further. I make the effort to eat at least 3 times a day regardless of whether I feel hungry or not.
Some days I may not feel hungry but I don't let that feeling to deter me, especially in the evening/night because of neglected, the hunger would come with stronger force in the midnight.

Exercise;
This is one of those routines that I have engaged in for years but in different forms. From the days of running long distances to the days of playing football and then volleyball to muscle building exercises.
But one thing is common: the satisfaction and mood boosts I derived from them.

These rituals have a way of ensuring my day goes as planned if followed, especially the sleep and exercise.
While I find my day being sorted of messed up on a day I don't follow it through as usual.

The importance of these activities is such that no matter how hectic the day looks, I have to find a way to include them to avoid a ripple effect of negative outcomes.
