My Homesteading with Watercress

My journey with homesteading was not easy as I faced many challenges at the beginning from preparing the land to choosing the right crops It took me a long time to discover what I could grow but with patience and experimentation I was finally able to find the crops that would suit my home It was a great feeling as I started to see the fruits of my efforts which increased my enthusiasm to continue.

My journey in agriculture began with a very easy plant which is watercress I chose it because it does not require complicated care and it grows quickly which gave me a boost of enthusiasm and confidence at the beginning I was very happy when I saw the green leaves of watercress appear after a few days This simple beginning made me feel that I was on the right track and encouraged me to expand to grow other plants.

Watercress took some time to grow but it was an easy plant to care for I did not face any major problems with it as all it needed was regular watering and a little attention Watching it grow day after day was a fun experience and made me feel more connected to my agriculture Although I was waiting to harvest it I found comfort in the simplicity of caring for it and that was an encouraging start to continue homesteading.

The pictures below shows the production of the arugula I planted and that was a truly wonderful experience Seeing the result after taking care of the plant gave me a sense of satisfaction and pride It tasted distinctive fresh and had a strong flavor compared to what we find in the markets This experience made me realize the value of home gardening where you can enjoy natural and healthy products from your own efforts It was a motivating start to continue my journey with agriculture.
