Honestly, I never imagined that the experience of gardening would be this enjoyable! I started homesteading a while ago and I decided to try planting some light things and peppers were one of the first things I planted. I expected that the subject would be complicated and require careful monitoring, but I discovered that it was easier than I thought.
From the moment I planted the seeds in the soil I enjoyed following them every day. Peppers are not only easy to grow, but they also grow quickly and tolerate different conditions. All I did was water them regularly and make sure that the soil was not completely dry and indeed within weeks I started to see the first leaves, and then the small fruits appeared which made me very happy.
When I saw the success of the first planting, I decided to continue and plant larger quantities. Peppers are very useful in the kitchen, and their taste adds a distinctive flavor to food, in addition to the fact that they do not take up a lot of space and produce very good production compared to the effort spent on them. So I said, why not? Instead of buying I plant it myself and I can be sure that it is 100% healthy and clean.
I am currently preparing to plant a new batch, and I intend to try different types such as hot peppers and colored peppers. I am also thinking of expanding my agriculture a bit and trying new crops besides peppers. Maybe the garlic I planted before will have a new owner in my small field.
The truth is that homesteading is not just farming, it is an enjoyable lifestyle full of small achievements that give a sense of satisfaction, and I think I have already entered this path and I do not intend to go back.
