Alot of work has been carried out in our rice farm over the few weeks ever since they have been planted.
This is how far we have come.
The emergence of the rice just and very soft grain within
Before now we have added inorganic chemicals to remove all the grasses and weeds to keep the rice clean and spaces within for proper growth and expansion.
We did something a bit late this time around, fertilizers ought to have been added.
We use inorganic fertilizer, NPK to our rice field in order for the leaves grains and everything to work well and produce good
.
But since we have planted alot of crops and they were all demanding our finances for clearing of weeds and hiring of laborers to harvest and help with the farm work, we barely had enough funds to go round this activities.
Don't expect me to sell my hive funds to sponsor this farming project, they are two different investment 🤓🤓
So application of fertilizer is coming very late for our rice field this year
Application of fertilizer will not work majorly on expansion of roots or getting the plant bigger but to make the grains large and of quality size at harvest...
Its been a long journey of about 4months of planting rice and watching all the process..
Thank you for staying tuned and supporting this blog about our farming process.

Rice look so much like flowers, I would have misunderstood it for something else, if I didn't read about It here, @monica-ene any idea if rice would grow well here in the South south region of Nigeria?
It would not make you happy if your farm isn't the way you want it, but you have Said it all, that no one should expect you to sell your Hive to finance the farm, honestly, the are two different investment.
