We are really facing alot of hardship when it comes to making profit most especially poultry farmer and most of this is due yo unavailability of market.
Just imagine working for months caring for the birds from day old and naturing them to table size and selling or people pricing the birds at a ridiculous price which will us to make loss at the end of the day.

The middlemen are the ones taking the profit of business. They know when you have nurse the birds to certain time and there is how you will have to sell it and if didn't sell it on time, the chicken will continuously eat and if care is not taken you might run on great loss.

Making profit for small scale farmer is like a broken mirror which can not be packed. When the chicken has been raised to a certain period, and nowhere to sell it out it becomes a big issue.

For me am thinking for a way to make profit from the business and the only to do that is to sell to direct consumers and to sell to direct consumer it will require great capital to do that. There are some items to get which include freezer, generator,weighing scale and other things. I did some market survey of those items which are as follows:
Freezer- 295,000 for smaller size
Generator- 250,000
Scale-55,000

Also renting of shop to be able to display the product we have tgat also will cost around 250,000 depending on the location.

I hope to pursue this and to make most of the opportunity it offers
