That's quite daring, I think the purpose of parading the masquerade is to look for someone they can sacrifice for their masquerade whatever, and that's pretty fucked up, especially in this age and stage.

yea right, and like you said, most traditions have been abolished, and the indigene get more exposed to civilization, with time, civilization will spread to every nook and cranny of the country...
