Hello..!!My Dear Hiveians,@rokeya from Bangladesh Today I will share it with you. Has technology taken away this generation's childhood?
When I was a child, hide and seek, kabaddi, and running around in the field in the afternoon were part of our lives. As soon as the sun went down in the afternoon, my mother would call me and say, "Come home." But today's children only have mobile phones, tablets, and laptops in front of their eyes. I sometimes wonder if this generation is even enjoying childhood?
Technology has brought us many benefits, I won't deny that. But along with that, there is a big disadvantage that cannot be ignored. The sweet memories of childhood are stuck on the glass screen of technology. Children no longer write letters to friends, read storybooks, and even talking to each other openly seems to be disappearing. Virtual games, YouTube, and social media are taking over their minds. When I was a child, nature, open fields, and spending time with friends were very important parts of our lives. Today's children are deprived of that joy. They are learning to grow with technology, but they are losing many valuable experiences of growing up as human beings.
When a child stares at a screen all day, not only does his eyes get tired, but his mind also becomes lonely. His horizons of thought become narrow. There is no room for imagination to spread its wings and fly. And thus, he grows up, but the sweet memories of childhood remain absent from his life.
Let technology come, we are not stopping it. But at the same time, children need a balanced environment where, along with technology, there is a touch of nature, the joy of sports and real contact. Childhood comes only once, and if it is lost in the virtual world, then what will they make memories about when they grow up?
Thank you everyone.
Technology came with a lot advantages as well disadvantages, children of this generation have little or no touch of nature at all.
I always wonder about that too, children of this age have less things to have fun with. Childhood was so much fun without technology taking our time away, I believe parents and guidance can help children still have a great experience alongside technology.
They effect of technology to children changed many things of the past
