Our country is an agricultural country. In this agricultural country, rain is constantly needed. Especially to produce crops, we need a lot of rain.

However, the month of May is ending, and there is still no rain. Although clouds appear occasionally in the sky, the chances of rain are very low. In a word, there is no rain.

We need vision to cultivate crops. If there is no rain, we will never be able to cultivate our crops and produce food grains from them. Not only food grains, crops are very useful in our daily lives. Moreover, by producing crops, we can earn a lot of foreign exchange.

The drought is not turning into rain in any way. On one hand, there is extreme sun temperature, and on the other hand, there is extreme heat. Moreover, the crop lands are now almost empty. Until it rains, these crop lands will remain barren. To make the crop lands suitable for cultivation, rain is definitely needed. Moreover, some farmers are trying to produce crops in their agricultural lands using pumps. However, due to the extremely low electricity demand, the farmers do not have enough electricity connections to water their agricultural lands. Although electricity is being provided in some cases, the additional electricity cost does not even cover the cost of cultivation in agricultural lands. Therefore, the farmers are living in extreme misery.

Some farmers have already sown various crops in their lands. Especially in our regional areas, jute is cultivated in large quantities. Many farmers have collected maize in their agricultural lands and then cultivated their lands using bullock ploughs. However, after cultivating, they could not reach the desired target. Because till now their agricultural lands have become barren and cracked due to lack of rain only.

Whenever it rains, they will sow seeds in their agricultural lands and decide to harvest the crops. Until it rains, there is no opportunity to spread these crops on the ground.

The people living in the riverine areas are the worst affected. Due to the continuous rains, there is no water in the river. Therefore, boating is stopped in the river, and now buffalo or bullock carts are being used for transporting goods in the river.

The fishermen who used to earn their living by fishing are now living in difficult circumstances. It is very difficult, the river where boats used to float on the water now has no water and vehicles are now plying in that river.

The animals living in the river are now often on the verge of extinction. Some bird species used to survive by collecting fish from the river. However, their lives are very threatened due to the lack of water in the river now.

The animals that used to live in the forest are now in great trouble. On the one hand, it is very hot; on the other hand, the animals are not able to store their food and water.

The drought is having a very bad effect on all kinds of plants and animals, starting from humans. We never want this drought. We pray to the Creator that He will soon shower the rain of mercy on us and make our earth suitable for cultivation again.
