With more hours or not, I think I'll still be one of those who procrastinate about things that needs to be done if I think it's going to be a difficult or time consuming one. But that habit have been on a deep decline for as long as I can remember as now, I love to get things done as quickly as I can.
I'm not the very hardworking type as I see myself as someone who only gets things done that are more pressing than others and I take more time to do the others, I find it stressful to use all my time on a particular thing so multi-tasking is something I do a lot to utilize my time everyday.
First of all, I'll say 24 hours is perfect for me to do what needs to be done and if I can't get all done, I hope to see the next day and continue but in those hours, I still take the time out to rest and get recharged for the next working hours. I see it as one waste of time wishing for more time lol.
Long before recently, I would procastinate in everything. I still do it now but there's been a lot of changes since I started to try making good use of my time everyday. Trying to make every hour count is not an easy feat but from the little I've been doing intentionally, there are good changes.
Since I can't have my wish for more hours of the day, and I can't deprive myself of my rest and sleep time to use more time, I try to utilize the time of the day I have well enough and I try not to keep too much loads of work waiting for me the next day. Having a daily to-do list works for me.
Time is an important aspect of life and can never be gained back once it's lost, I don't even want to think about my age as time ticks every second. Using my time on actions or activities that are not productive or make my time's worth are the last things I want to find myself engaging with.
Time Wasters I have identified most recently that I am working on is spending too much time watching short dramas and scrolling through clips on Tiktok and YouTube shorts. Even though I can get some info from them and idea on what to write or share about movies, it's still too much.
A few days ago, I thought to myself what difference it would make in my general productivity daily if I should get rid of these time wasters and I figured I'd be doing so much and achieve more but I'm yet to find the discipline to do away with them. Regardless, I have been able to reduce the time I spend on them little by little.
I think identifying and getting rid of time wasters is a productivity booster but one major booster I do to increase productivity is having daily targets and making sure I achieve them or get close before I feel relaxed to do other minor stuffs of the day like watching movies, chatting and exploring new things to learn for more growth.

I am also a lover of reels, and I spent more hours on TikTok than any other social media app, but then it doesn't affect my work, nor does it make me procrastinate on what needed to be done. Sometimes, the music videos on TikTok even motivate me better in getting my work done.
Haha that's a good one, maybe I'll find how it doesn't affect the things I need to get done.
Beating procrastination is not easy, especially when you have pile of important stuffs to do, but one strategy I use is, instead of worrying about how many jobs I have to do I just start doing what I can' with the time I have and before you know it I have cleared my chore table for the day.
That's a good strategy, I do that too.
Am almost in the same feeling of your write up post, am also the person that easily procrastinate, I always have the mentality that I had enough time. But lately everything changed as I grows in age.
Most youth waste more time on social media more than the time they engage in productive activities.
Yeah, I guess as we grow older, we place more importance on our time and use it wisely.
I admire that you don’t try to overwork yourself. Many people think productivity means doing a lot at once, but pacing yourself and resting well is so smart. Your approach to tackle one day at a time with a to-do list is something I want to try too.
Yeah, I was like that before... Overworking myself and have little to show for it but not anymore.
I don't waste time but still I feel it would be better if I could extend my life. It's not mean I am not satisfied with the current time. I just want it to do some entry things that are related to recreation.
Lol it's not possible so we make good use of the time we have available.
I also have a similar story as yours like I also used to mindlessly procrastinate back in the day but slowly it started to hit me back and that hard realization made me make changes in my choices and the habits that I was previously involved in.
And I'm sure you've had more better days without procastination, it's always rewarding.
Time is a very important aspect of our life and that is why we need to schedule ourselves and know how to manage our time
Yeah, it's very important we do that.
You see those short dramas ehn, they are really taking my time these days. They’ve won my heart and I’m not ready to put a stop😅
Lol I guess you're not alone, I just try to reduce the time I spend on them now.
I’m just happy that you want to get rid of the time wasters like those short videos and all
They can be very addictive
I had to fight that too
It's really not easy but it's something that worth it when you fight it.
The short reels videos are taking bunch of my time and I'm going to deal with them. Thanks for sharing.
