The Impact Of AI In My Digital World: A Balanced Perspective
The world of digital technology have been experiencing great improvements and great features that have not only made things easier but also make our digital lifestyles more interesting. I remember then when I would be so excited to make use of a new feature I find in my limiting smart phone, a lot has changed now.
The rise of artificial intelligence in the digital world has made a whole lot of difference than the changes before it's rise. The first time I made use of AI to generate images of mine, it got addictive as I continued to try the system to see the next beautiful it had to show me. AI has come to make things easier for those digitally inclined.
Personally, Artificial Intelligence has helped me a lot that I could hardly say it has negative effects but there is nothing made or created by man that is not without negative effects or bad consequences. From little use to over use, people are using AI in the negative way while there are people who are using it for even greater things.
I came across an ad that was about "Mastery AI challenge" with the emphasis that so many people do not realize or know how much AI can do because they've not learned and tried it's intelligent capabilities. I believe this is the major cause of underuse of this great digital opportunity and it's causing more disadvantages.
What is the result of not knowing the use of something even though it's easily accessible? Abuse! And alongside this, is downgrading it's value. People who don't know much how to use it do not see it as a good addition to digital living. For people who have seen the value in AI, they have to deal with the risk of overusing or abuse.
Honestly, we can't say for sure how far AI will go but from what people have been able to use AI for, the possibilities are unlimited. An AI app I'm so tempted to check out now is "Character.ai". From reviews, I'm surprised that such an AI exist already, an AI that gets into character for chats and voice talks, it is quite impressive. But there is a lot more I'm not aware of regarding AI and it's the case for others who use technology.
The impact of AI in our world today can not be underestimated, there's more to unravel and so I think constant and cautious use of it is advised. If we abuse it now, what will become of our future? I fear that some years from now, the world would rely totally on AI to do all the intelligent work and we would have less humans using their brains to actually do the big works.
A balanced approach to this is utilizing AI while making sure to put our human brains to use too, if we rely too much on AI, it will take over the effectiveness our brains should have to function well. While I make use of AI, I give myself tests every now and then to keep my brain working too.

Too much reliance on AI is truly not the best, even though it makes things much easier, we should try to balance the use because as you said, it will be a thing of shame if later the future is ruled by intelligent AI leaving us the creators behind. And worst of it is when we can't even do the basic things needed with our brains again

A really big shame, I tell you.
Even the world we are now, most people are already abusing AI and using it for the wrong reasons. AI is here to make things less stressful for us, we only need to do a part while it effect other part for us but the reliance on it is causing people to misuse their talent and creativity. But for me, I actually love AI as it helps me improve in many ways. So, the sooner or earlier we stop abusing its use, the better.
Of course, we have a lot of people who are making good use of AI but the abuse seem more.
It's very important we create a balance, so we don't build our brains to depend so much on artificial intelligence.
Using AI constantly will make one neglect the power of human intelligence.
And that's the fear, negligence to human's strength.
I totally agree that not knowing how to use AI leads to either underuse or abuse. It's like giving a super tool to someone with no manual. The challenge now is building awareness and digital discipline,use AI, but don’t lose your intelligence in the process.
That's just it, it's best underused to keep our brains working though 😅
But then how are supposed to keep up with the fast paced world
I fear that some years from now, the world would rely totally on AI to do all the intelligent work and we would have less humans using their brains to actually do the big works.This is already happening, student now rely on AI for their assignment, some professionals also rely on AI to guide them with their work and it will only get worse...
That's really too bad, imagine how worse it could get in the future.
