My Growing Curiosity About the Mystery of the Human Mind
I thought I found an interesting topic that I've been showing a lot of interest in for the past few weeks but I figured I've not researched just enough to write a full blog about what I think about the human mind. And now, I think I understand why it feels like that for me... The human mind can not be fully understood, it totally reminds me of the mystery of God's supremacy.
For the past weeks, I've been watching videos and reading stuffs about neuropsycology in the bid to understand why I feel some certain way and think in some kinda direction that are mostly different from what others are thinking at different point in time. It's been an interesting search for me as I keep learning deeper into just how amazingly God created us, humans to be.
Sometimes, I wonder how my mind travels so far while I'm only just looking at something entirely unconnected or when I'm just closing my eyes for some rest. It makes me wonder just how far others mind must have gone while I talked to them or just go about my activities in front of them. It makes me understand just how important it is to be mindful of one's behaviour.
In my search of how to love myself more, stay healthy and grow wealth, all of the researches traced me back to my brain and my mind, how they are intertwined to help my body function as they should. From what I researched, if I should just focus on keeping these two as healthy as possible, every other part of me will follow the thread and be healthy to function even better.
Ever heard of "Inner child"? That's the mind we were made to live by from the moment we were born. So many of us don't have a beautiful inner child experience and so it affects our adulthood and when we make attempt to fix our adulthood problems, we are made to start from how we've been taught and brought up because it all starts from there, it's a very interesting thing to know.
Honestly, I don't think I know up to 2% of how the human mind works and if I will ever know up to 50% of how it works but am I fascinated? Very, very! And I plan to take some time out weekly to explore the human mind by research, personal journaling and interacting with people. The human mind is vast that nobody will ever get to unravel it's mysteries but for the simple act of trying to understand how it works, that is huge.
The human body is well connected and the mind (the brain) is what keeps it running. Sadly, we don't utilize it enough according to research. I guess that's just how God designed the human body but I believe man can also use the mind to break through God's design and create his own design, God has said we are like Him and God's understanding is unsearchable... Interesting!
