Honestly, when I first saw the prompt, I laughed because it sounded funny, but at the same time it was really interesting to think about.

The idea of a ghost living inside a phone, laptop, or computer feels strange, but somehow it also feels possible in this digital age where almost everything about us is stored online.

The first time I heard something like this was actually from an anime, although I have forgotten the title. It was a newer anime where kids were fighting ghosts through their phones. These ghosts were attached to devices they used before they died, and the kids had to bring out special weapons from their phones to destroy them. It sounded crazy at first, but the story made it feel real.

Since then, I started thinking about how much of our lives are now connected to technology.
I have also seen something similar in a Korean movie. In that movie, the owner of a big company died, but somehow his ghost remained connected to his phone.

A young man found the phone by accident, and before he knew it, he was communicating with the ghost of the dead CEO. The ghost helped him, guided him, and eventually the young man started living a better life and even became the CEO of the company. That movie made me think that maybe not every ghost story has to be scary.

Now, if something like that happened to me in real life, I won’t lie, I would definitely be scared at first. Imagine opening your laptop at midnight and suddenly files start moving on their own, strange messages appear, or your dead colleague starts sending you messages online. That would make anybody panic. I would probably drop my phone immediately and start praying first before doing anything else.

But if the ghost was peaceful and not trying to harm me, I think my fear would reduce with time. In fact, if that person was someone I knew before they died and they were helping me with useful advice, I might even get used to it. Let me be honest, if the ghost can teach me skills that would help me make money or become successful, then omo, we are friends for life! I would not even want to disconnect the internet again.

Still, I would be careful because not every spirit should be trusted. I would want to know their intention first. Are they here to help or to cause trouble? That matters a lot.
For me, digital ghosts sound scary, but they also sound like something that could make a great movie or anime. Fear would definitely be there, but curiosity would also be there too.
