The Mind's Mystery.

The mind is something that's been fascinating me for a long time now. The mind is very deep. There's a place in the Bible that seems to talk about how deep and deceitful the human mind can be, while ending with..."who can know it?." But then, this isn't a Bible class✌️

I don't think anyone can fully explain or describe the human mind or what it is capable of. I remember a lot of times I just lay down on my bed doing nothing, and just as if something is being triggered inside of me, things begin to come to my remembrance, I am talking about things that might have happened long ago, things that I might not even have recalled if it was asked randomly. There are even times I just sit down and begin to recall even the littlest things I wasn't paying attention to during the day, and I will even begin to question myself if it was there or not, if it happened or not and if I did see it or not.

There are a lot of things I do imagine with this my small, tiny, little head. Talking of things that are yet to even happen, talking of even the way it helps me imagine a lot of things I might initially find hard to do or push for, not to talk of the way it helps me tackle things including writing prompts, there are even times I imagine myself in situations..like.

Personally, I feel the mind can be a two edged sword just like the tongue is. We know the tongue can make or mar, same goes to the mind too. The mind can comfort us with various things, maybe memories or even trying to comfort us with some encouragement, same way it can also trouble us and bring about sad memories and such that can break us or make us fall into depression. The same mind that helps you sleep calmly after bringing back good old memories or events of the day, can as well give one a sleepless night by bringing about that heartbreaking memories that we would really love to forget.

And everyone is different, we all are unique and it is our minds that help us shape the way we see and understand the world in our own different ways. I might see an open door and it's filled with various good opportunities that I can go for while another person will see the same opening and see things that will scare him/her.

So, just like a clock keeps on working, the mind as well works day and night, even when we are not really paying attention and we think we are so busy, the mind is still working. And like I said earlier, I don't think anyone, no.. there's even no one who can comprehend or fully describe the extent to which the mind is, it is a mystery. Same will go for this topic too and for every topic we've been writing on, each individual with his own mind and perspective.
