A RARE ARTIFACT

I remember many years ago, back in secondary school, it was a friday and a time where we (students) cut the grass. It was the first and only government secondary school I ever attended, and I didn’t really know how to blend it then. But after the first term, blending in became very easy, I found activities like cutting grass fun, and on one faithful friday when we were cutting grass I noticed my cutlass hitting what looked like a metal. When I brought it out of the ground it was a pearl and although I never knew the worth, even in its dirty state it looked beautiful and valuable to behold. I showed my friends immediately and we all wondered what it was. I decided to keep it until I was done but never saw it in my pocket by the time I finished.

From this lesson, If I should ever come across an artifact, natural resource or anything of value in my backyard the first thing I would do would be to shut the hell up about it and try to find out just how valuable it is. Then I was young and naive with very little experience being with people. I mean I wouldn’t want a gift I found in my backyard to be the cause of my death lol. Now finding a spaceship, it would be hard to hide, so the first thing I would do is build a tent around it, and make sure I find a good excuse for doing so.

If I discover the spaceship to be very valuable, I do not mind buying two trucks in my house to pretend it’s a parking space. After which I won’t just sell it to anyone, instead I will put it out for an anonymous auction. This way I can get more than the value it goes for, or the true value of it. I do not know anything about spaceships so it will be technically useless to me. I think selling it will be the best option, as I am not even licensed to own a spaceship talkless fly one which I do not know how to do.
