Productivity doesn't make time precious.

Time is the most precious thing in this world. It's precious, but it's free, and we are allowed to use it properly, and we can also waste it however we want. Some people use their time to make it productive, and most of the time they can get success in life, and most of the people who waste their precious time end up becoming a failure. Working hard and trying our best to make our time productive is indeed a good thing, but making time productive does not make it actually precious, and most of us misunderstand it.

It is true that in life we all want to be successful and it is reasonable to make our time productive if we want to chase success. Making the best use of time does not ensure success in life, and even if we get success, it does not ensure that we will live a happy life as well as a meaningful life. Doing things at the right time makes our life meaningful, and doing that at the right time makes it meaningful. And if we miss the opportunity to make it happen in time, then there is no way we can recover it, and that's why it says that lost time cannot be recovered, and that's the thing that makes time more precious. So, productivity doesn't mean that it's the reason to make time precious. Let me explain.

When we are young, we have the energy to visit here and there and it's a great time to travel from one place to another and explore new places. At the time, we may have a shortage of money, but still we should try our best to manage it and explore as much as possible, maintaining a balance. In old age we may have a lot of money, but in that time, we may not have the energy to travel from here and there. The beauty we can explore, the colour we can see in our young age will not be same at the old age and how we think will also be different. It means that if we miss the time to do those things at a young age, we may not get a second chance. We can try our best but there is no way we can recover the loss anytime.

Connections between people are precious and instead of being an introvert, I accept it. Is there any benefit to attending a family function like a marriage or birthday party or something else? Going there may seem a waste of time, but if we go there, we can spend quality time with our family members, relatives, and cousins, which is like a reunion, and meeting with them gives a kind of happiness. It has nothing to do with productivity, but attending that function is the right thing to do.

Let's talk about spending quality time with family members. Do you think spending quality time with family members has anything to do with productivity? Do you think that is also a waste of time? In that case, I want to ask you what you are living for. What's the benefit of making it productive all the time? I believe that sometimes gossiping with siblings is also meaningful rather than using all time to make it productive. Living a life in a meaningful way with satisfaction and doing everything that has time to be done makes time precious and not necessary to be productive.
