My Favourite Innovation and Why
A lot of innovation has really made an impact in today's world. Unlike in olden days, though, every advantage has it disadvantages, but still the new innovation still makes the world better and different. To mention a few.
There was no electricity in the past. Now imagine how life will be then: no electricity to pump water but a deep well, no electricity to iron but a charcoal iron, and when night comes, no electricity to power lights but lamps. Though they are using all those alternatives, it comes with a lot of stress, but now with the invention of electricity, things are easier, even cooking with electricity saves time and saves cost in today's world.
Innovation of the phone When my mom was still alive, she told me of how she and my dad communicated when they were still courting. If she wrote and sent letters to my dad, it took months to get to him, and before my dad would reply back 😄. Imagine if there was urgent information to pass to a person at that moment, chaiii! But nowadays, with the invention of the phone, everything is so easy and smooth. Within a minute, you can pass vital or casual information to the other person, and even if the network is showing witchcraft, you can send a message, it will deliver, and things will be back to normal—no waiting for months or years before the message you send delivers, and so many more innovations.
The one I love so much is the sewing machine because imagine nowadays sewing with just a needle and thread. Sure, the aim will be achieved, but the time and long process—imagine sewing a corset gown or blouse with just a needle and thread; it will take weeks.
Imagine having a lot of work or sewing in this festive season, like this past Eid al-Kabir, as a tailor, and you are using a needle to sew is a no-go area. So with the help of the sewing machine, sewing was made easy and convenient for all seamstresses.
Also, I love the innovation of the Internet. With the help of the Internet, life is different and smooth. You can do a lot on the Internet, like advertising your business or brand and making more sales online than in a physical shop. You can find a lot of opportunities on the Internet that can change one's life. A lot of people run to the Internet these days because it gives them what they are looking for. It's easy to find a job and engage in one or two on the Internet.
If I am to invent something to make life easier, it will be the innovation of a robot that will be doing all the house chores because as a woman, especially a married woman, going to work from morning and coming back to the house in the evening or night depends on the kind of work the woman does and meets a load of work in the house, from cleaning up to cooking and even taking care of children. So if there's a robot that does house chores, it will make life easier for most women like me and save us from stress, and we will be able to have much time for the family.

Science and technology has really turned things around, I also remember when my father was in Liberia,we always receive his letter 3 months after he must have written it.
Imagine...i wonder how our parents do cope óò and they survived it but it difference is very much clear, better and more convenient now
Humans will continue to evolve and create innovations that will remain life-changing, very soon a device that will feed,bath and cloth us will be invented. I just hope when that time comes we don't forget what our true purpose in earth is thank you
Yes , technology will definitely keep evolving, but that doesn't take it important or impact away, what we African sees as hard work that prevents us from using many of these devices that makes life easier is what goes on to prevent us from reaching their level in innovation, cause while we keep doing things manually, they leave it for robots and faces more vital and productive activities that brings development to not just themselves, but their country at large.

Some of the hand made workers now are using sewing machine is not only usefull for a tailor
i remeber my mom said, she will go and wit for him under a mamgo tree at a particular time in the evening before sunset for them to meet and play together, unlike tjis present day that gadget makes everything far more easier than we can ever imagine.

The invention of sewing machines and the internet has really taken life to another level. Back then people had to use thread and needle to sew and to communicate, one has to use letters that might take days or weeks to be delivered but now, withing split of seconds, you can send your text messages or call if you wish.

This is great @hamokstitches You just reminded me of how compatible mobile phones are now compared to the big Nokia 360 my dad used then. Lo and behold, if you use that phone then, tuning out that ring tone when you're in a bus or amidst people, you're a rich man 😄
