You know while growing up I use to see women who have climbed the ladder of success and are at the top despite the societal image of where women are meant to be which is ending up in the kitchen even with their degrees and certificate, so just like every other girl out there I desired to be that kind of ambitious woman, I wanted to write history too, I wanted my name to ring a ball someday somewhere not just because I added a man's name to my name's, I desired to also change the patterns for my children so that they won't go through what I went through.

And so I was fueled by those desires that I intentionally started bringing out the best in all I do, I started leaving footprint in anywhere I entered and I took my education more seriously because I knew that this was also one of the ways that those who climbed the top traded, I knew that inside the four walls of the university it wasn't just education that was kept in store for me, more awaits me to unveil and that I am doing, so with this I can term this type of desire as a healthy desire that fuels my growth.
But there lies a very young naive girl that doesn't fully understand the meaning of life, she was so fortunate to get into university at the age of 16, but before she even got the admission her whole desire was to leave her house because in her house she was monitored, controlled and deprived of many opportunities other young girl her age were enjoying and to top it all she is a Reverend daughter so she was strictly under surveillance and so her utmost desire was to leave the place she knows as home to be on her own and the only escape route was gaining admission not just to any university close to her house but the ones that are really far from home and yes life did her the honours.
Her wishes and desire was granted, all she ever craved for were slowly falling in place for her, she started going out and coming back whenever she wanted, she started keeping friends with people that misleaded her, she took her education less serious as she paid no attention to it, she started wearing dresses that showed her curves, breast and thighs, she started drilling slowly away from the God and this is what I would call an unhealthy desire that leads to constant dissatisfaction because she wasn't ever satisfied with her life, she was always jumping from this to that just to get satisfaction and validation.
Life presents us with different choices but it doesn't force us to pick a particular one rather we would do the decision by ourselves, please choose wisely so you wouldn't sell your birthright just like Esau, do have a lovely weekend ahead.
