The network provider that makes life easier for me
Recently, I made a post about how I bought an Airtel 5G router, which you can read here. In summary, the post is all about the problems I was facing with network subscriptions; it looks like a sinkhole that keeps consuming money, and at a point, I said no, this has to stop and hence I did my research to figure out the best network subscription service I could opt for and that was Airtel Unlimited monthly Sub.

Earlier this morning, a friend called me lamenting about how Mtn keep sucking his data and how they didn't give him a good offer, it is either they offer him the daily sub or higher sub above 10k which he didn't budget for, I could not advice him to get the 5G airtel router because he is not a heavy user of data and is not always online like me so he doesn't need unlimited plan...
Many people are facing this issue, and sadly, they have no choice but to keep doing this high-priced subscription because data is something most of us can't do without... Some of us rely on it to work online, while others depend on it to have fun online, so either way, we all need it.
If asked which network is the best, I will choose Starlink! But it is not affordable for many, and recently there has been an issue because they also wanted to hike their subscription plan, which the government disagrees with, so old users are still paying the old sub fee, which was 38k. Still, new users are not eligible for that offer; their monthly sub plan starts from 70k. The main issue now is that it is not easy to get their dish and activate it now; the old users are lucky, but until when?

I read a lot of reviews and feedback from people using the Airtel 5G router before I made up my mind to purchase it, some people complain that their network service is bad, some complain about how it is not unlimited and how they could not use the internet when they used 1 terabyte, some complain about how the 5G network isn't working and how they had to rely on the 4G, amidst that, there were good feedbacks of customers that love everything about it, some said it was unlimited that they have used above 1terabyte and it is still working great, some also write about how the network is strong and they have no issue with it... The good feedback was more than the bad, and that was why I went for it...
If you ask for my feedback about their network, it is good! Been enjoying it for weeks now, even though sometimes the 5G used to disappear from mine too, but once I carry it and change the direction, it comes back, but even without the 5G, I can do my work smoothly with their network and that is what matters...
I blog, watch movies, and do all I want without worries about exhausting the data; this is only possible with the unlimited plan, and no doubt that it is more profitable than doing the daily/weekly/monthly plan.
My advice for those who are suffering from the ridiculous price of data now is that they should go for the unlimited Airtel 5G router, about the money? You can always make a way where there is none... All you need to do is the maths... It can serve the family, so maybe contributions will do the trick, you can extend the love to your neighbours, partner up with them and split the monthly sub, oh well, that is if you have a close neighbour.

But why is it that some good things are just so expensive to get? If this network provider is much affordable , a lot of us would have left MTN and their brothers but no, we die here, switching from MTN to Airtel , from Airtel to glo..lol
Sometimes, they both get mad at the same time and make one feel frustrated ..lol

You forgot to add the price you got the Airtel 5G router, data expenses are one of the hell these days😩
😅 it is expensive but then it is better in the long run than purchasing all the small data plans and the most important thing is you do not have to worry about your data getting exhausted in the middle of something important.
really tired of all this network, i just wish there can be a good network provider that can challenge them with cheap unlimited plan, they are just ripping us off because we don't really have a choice
There is, the problem is they are not available in all location.
The price of data is really outrageous, some time last month I went to visit my sister and she was using the Airtel 5g router, it was really worth the price, I was able to access the Internet without interruptions. When I was leaving I really wished I could afford the router for myself.
It's the best and I highly recommend. If you can afford the unlimited bundle, then do it , it's better than the dayly, weekly and monthly data plans.
No doubt, it is the best. I can confidently tell my famz to connect to my router knowing that it doesn't affect me.
Wow, you are really enjoying boss- because you are free of all these network issues to an extent. I have read about different better network services but it's best for people who use heavy data consumption.

Starlink has also increased their sub plan to 70k monthly, not sure I want to be paying 70k on sub monthly.
When money don dey, the target is to get starlink. It completely gives you peace of mind from the uncertainty of rain and unstable weather. MTN knows what they've done. Very greedy people.
They know! And they can wake up tomorrow again and decide to increase the tariff plan again with confidence that people are still going to subscribe... they are right, cos we can't do without data.
Starlink is the best as long as there is constant light to power it up.

Seriously, I actually like the idea where you don't need to keep subbing weekly or monthly. If one could close eyes and buy it, that's it.

The router cost 75k when I bought it, but it also comes with free unlimited data for that month, so I assume they already charged for the sub in the 75k... After buying the router, the monthly unlimited sub cost 30k
MTN is definitely not the best choice when it comes to data prices and the speed with which the data you purchased at such a high price finishes, Airtel might have their own problems but still the best if you want long lasting data.
In my opinion, both new and old users should get the same package rate because as you said, old users can start from 38k and new users from 70k. I would call this unfair because a user is a user whether new or old. If you are giving a package to an old user at 38k, then the new user should also be at 38k so that he can become your regular user.
what really happened was that they wanted the old user to pay 70k too but the government didn't approve it so the old users were protected but anyone getting it now will only be able to activate it with the new price of 70k and they are still looking for way to make the government approve the new price.

But despite the fact that these networks subscriptions are really expensive some people still prefer to use MTN due to its fast internet connections
