[TV] Ride or Die - Season 1 Ep4
It's quite amazing how subconsciously I'm getting to watch movies of two besties on the run lately. Episode 4 of Ride or Die makes it a more complex journey for the two friends who are on the run for their lives.
Episode 4 started with a recap of how Whiptail was taken away from the orphanage home with her own decision based on the potential that the director saw in her to be trained as a special child that she was at the age of 15 till the present age of heading to the age of 50. How could you retire such a person that has been more or less like a child but I guess the rules of their job still prevails that you must love no one.
David on the other end with the anonymous killer who had taken his body away from the hotel where he was partially shot held him captive and was in charge of his phone. So even if Debbie was trying to reach her husband to clear the 24million of the Albanians, the killer was in charge reading the chats while Debbie thinks she was been ignored and later blocked. Her only solution remains finding Billy who was David's partner.
I love the scene where the ladies in the hotel room where Debbie and Whiptail lodged supported in finding Billy just with their phones. It was crazy how they did that and I guess that's why the saying of "two heads are better than 1" makes a full ground cos they could have spent days in the city without having a lead to Billy.
I also love how smart Debbie took Billy down in the club house even when their plan had failed for whiptail to drug him of which unfortunately she had to deal with the drug dealers first.
Finally having a talk with Billy made her know how horrible her husband was to have been destroying her struggled work behind her back because of money. I bet it that if you wanna have a happy life, don't marry wrongly cos Debbie had a taste of that and just when Debbie was about to be caught by the Albanians who had tracked them down to the hotel, her new found bedmate saved her from them.
Finally the anonymous killer's identity got revealed when Sam and Queenie had to sneak in to the director's office to search for her in the records of trained assassins since all the things tracked about her after her meeting with Sam and the software she put in Sam's phone pointed at her working for the agency before and behold she was really under the agency. Unfortunately, not only Ana was revealed as an assassin but Queenie also got to know about her mum to be an assassin as well. What a world!
Debbie got her answers from Billy but Whiptail did not because Billy wasn't actually the one after her life and didn't know who either. Could it be Ana from the same agency as hers and why? And what's she gonna do with Billy? Kill him and betray Debby one more time by failing her promise not to kill anymore or Kill Billy as that was her assignment from the agency which makes her have her job and not forcefully retired.
The actors are never disappointing in this movie as they keep maintaining the action and keep performing excellently well with the scenes giving the curiosity to see the end.
Ride or Die remains a movie to watch if you're yet to see it and I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the movie review.
