The line between right and wrong is getting blurred in our world today, and that's because almost everywhere you turn nowadays, you'll see people compromising on their values, conscience, and the like just so they can belong, survive, or become wealthy, while all of these play out in our world, and I see how intriguing those steps are in their lives, yet I've promised myself that I'll never be pressured into accepting it, doing what I know deep down within me isn't morally right.
Within the period of this short life, I've witnessed a lot of atrocities. I've seen people cover up abuse, corruption, and even betrayal just because the perpetrators happen to be someone they know, admire, or an influential person. It's just crazy, and that's not forgetting how you see many people mock and abuse people who choose to live an honest and humble lifestyle, simply because it's not the trend in today's world. It's just crazy. I remember one time when a man was alleged to have been sexually abusing their teenage maid, the wife for reasons best known to herself said it's all a lie and that it never happened despite the fact that she also had a young daughter of almost the same age who could fall victim to the same if the maid isn't apprehended.
This is something I just can't close my eyes upon. Once you're close to me and doing something illegal or not morally right, trust me, I won't harbor your misdeed because we're pals. Talk about cheating too, especially in relationships and academics. Many people seem to glory in this terrible act nowadays, like your friend, League of Friends, laughing about it, and when you try to tell them it isn't right to cheat on your way to success academically, they'll tell you everyone does it, even in relationships.
You'll see a guy or lady cheating on their partners, and yet the friends who know about all of these would still see the partner and call them out as a wife or husband, because everyone doing something doesn't make it right and definitely won't make it okay for me to do, so I've come to make it a point of duty that regardless of the weight of pressure upon me, I'd never cheat to excel academically and the like, because I can't normalize dishonesty because the majority does.
Another of those trends we see nowadays that I just can't do, regardless of the pressure or how tattered I look or dress, is being obsessed with money and materialism. From seeing people flaunting their wealth to others envying them, which ultimately usually leads to people delving into all sorts of unruly behaviors such as stealing, scamming, cybercrime, ritualism, and the like, it's crazy because all they're doing is technically hurting others, and I won't, at the mercy of others, acquire what gives me temporary gain.
Last but not least, one thing I'd be talking about regarding things I'll never do no matter the pressure is what we often see online nowadays. I recently talked about how I wanted to be a content creator on Facebook so I could earn via it, and one thing I notice most people do to gain traffic to their page is spread lies and false narratives to gain attention, even if it harms or defames another person. They just don't seem to care, inasmuch as they'll get the needed engagement that'll make them earn more. Seeing how it's real lives that are being discussed and would be affected, I've made it a point of duty that I'll not join the multitude to do that.
Yes, I'm not perfect, and yes, I've made my own share of mistakes and missteps, but one thing I know and would never be pressured into doing is defending what I know is wrong. It's better that I remain unpopular and earn little or nothing than be and become the reason why lives and reputations are being ruined.
One of my watchwords and standards in life is that trends shouldn't shift my perspective away from what is morally right. I'd rather lose friends for speaking the truth, and many of my friends here can attest to that even if it's against them, because for me, it's best I stand alone for speaking the truth even if the whole world is full of compromise, because I don't want to look myself up in the mirror and not be proud of who I see.

Wow, you've said heavy things here. If only we all will make it a duty to reason in this direction, we'll have a better world.
Covering up and siding with wrongs can backfire against us even, one day. Not even for that, how can I leave with such a conscience? It's pathetic what people do for money, fame, materialism, even if it affects and destroys another.
The word seems to be embracing and celebrating wrongs while the right things are made a mockery. But we'll stand to uphold truth, dignity, honour and integrity.

Wow! I salute your courage and the decision to be morally upright despite what the world is turning to. Kudos to you!
Where I feel is the most crazy part is when those that had to compromise criticise people that has refused to compromise.
The truth is hard at times but it pays all time.
