Phew, it has happened again, I mean the third time in two weeks. Honestly, I am so lost right now, I don’t even have any words left in my mouth to say, and that’s because today’s loss against THE BLUES struck a nerve. I can’t even say I’m disappointed in them today, and that’s because the previous weeks were better. The boys have been performing well since the beginning of the season, so what’s happening to them now. Are they all having family issues at the same time or have they not been getting their weekly pay from the club. I guess i will never have answers to my questions…
At first it was the loss to Crystal Palace in the English Premier League, then another loss to Galatasaray in the UEFA Champions League group stage, and now it’s a disappointing loss to Chelsea. I know right, Chelsea of all teams. What a funny and disappointing loss, three straight losses in two weeks. Liverpool definitely need to buckle up big time…
Honestly, I can’t believe i’m saying this right now, but then i just have to say it to feel a bit better. I am happy i didn’t waste both my money and time streaming this game today, i would have been so stressed and pissed. I am so happy i didn’t get to see any of the shit my guys played today, it would have not only been a slap on the face but also a knockout punch in the face…
I honestly didn’t know Liverpool had match today, not to talk more of knowing who we were up against, and that’s because I haven’t been really active in the football world for some weeks now, and the loss against Crystal Palace even made me more distant than ever…
I have been away all morning. I had some errands to run and also a 30 episode Chinese series to complete. I was completely occupied with these activities that I forgot everything else, not until this evening when I realized my team had a match today…
I had to run to the livescore app to confirm my assumptions. I didn’t even know the match had started, i just wanted to see who we were up against, that way i’d know what to expect and how i’ll prepare myself for the aftermath…
The first game i saw upon launching the livescore app was my team’s game against The Blues, Chelsea already scored a goal in just 17 minutes of the match. It was an instantaneous turn off, i was forced to check the lineup of both teams to know where the early goal mistake came from…
Liverpool started their best eleven and was still a goal behind. I couldn’t take it anymore and just closed the app immediately, hoping for a REMONTADA. The last time I begged my team to win a match was years ago, I can’t believe i did that today, and that too against a team like CHELSEA. I had to do that because i knew if i lost that match today, a lot of people would be coming for me on the green app, and i won’t be able to hear the end of it from some of my hive friends…
I woke up some minutes ago, guess what i walked in on immediately I opened my WhatsApp, it was a dm and a tag from a Chelsea and Arsenal fan. I was tagged to see the shame of my defender Virgil Van Dijk. I knew we lost the game immediately i saw those messages. I didn’t know what to say, i just had to laugh it off. I have been shunned, so there was nothing left to say…
In summary, these two late dm messages forced me to check the match stats. What i saw in the match stats proved a lot. It proved how Chelsea literally dominated the game from the beginning to the end. Luck was against us today…
I just hope they find themselves before the next match. It’s too early to be on a losing streak, we can’t afford that right now. Better luck next time GUYS…
