MY TWO CENTS ON THE RISING STAR GAME...

(edited)

RISING STAR; the very first play-2-earn game I hopped on the very week i was onboarded to the hive blockchain three years ago. I was almost like a wandering soul until my mentor @burlarj who has been playing the game alongside some other play-2-earn games decided to introduce me to the game that very year. I was neither reluctant nor skeptical about joining when he was telling me about it, after which he sent me his invite link, if I'm not mistaken, and i immediately hopped onto the game, and that was how my journey towards becoming a RISING STAR begun. I joined the hive blockchain on the 22nd of April, 2022 and rising star was the very first blockchain game I started playing days after i was onboarded…

The knowledge i have of the rising star game today all boils down from everything my mentor has taught and explained to him while i was joining, the remaining ones are the ones i picked up from the game when I started playing it. Rising star is a music career game i enjoyed playing in the past, everything about it was fun, at-least to an extent until i started climbing up the level ladder where things started looking a bit complicated. I was thought everything I needed to know about the rising star game by mentor and B0s in the neoxian city. We all were enjoying the game and I remember back then how most of us were aiming to get to a certain level to have access to a particular special card. I think the level for that special card was level 80. I was a newbie in the game but in weeks i managed to make it to level 7 and the game started getting more interesting and challenging. I kept on earning starbits, and the more i earned those starbits the more i bought more fans and upgraded my skill for every of my performances…

I thought i knew everything about the rising star game until gradually i started finding out it had more twists and turns than i imagined, this twist and turns made the game a bit slow for me. It felt like the knowledge i had about were not just enough to ensure my survival skills. Regardless of how i felt, i still kept on playing the game, building my fan base, learning some new skills to earn more starbits, also with the goal of getting to level 80 to get the access to purchase that special card. I think it’s something about Starpro. I can’t really remember the details because it’s been years since I backed out of the game…

I thought the knowledge i had about it from my mentor and a couple of other friends from the city would be enough to ensure my survival in the game. Little did I know there was more to the game than i had imagined. I was able to make it to level 35 months after joining the game. I can’t really recall if it was weeks or months. I was actually aiming to get to level 80 to have the privilege of requesting for that special card in the rising star discord server…

I had high hopes for the game back then that i bought some starbits with my hive earnings in-game, just because i wanted to increase my fan base and also to improve my skill to earn more starbits in-game. I kept on playing the game with the hop that i will be able to make something out of it months after, little did i know i was being a joker. After accumulating some starbits in-game, i tried to withdraw a couple of thousands to see how much i have made so far in the game, it was at this point i realized the coin only cost this much on hive-engine, gradually after this i started pulling out of the game. I even managed to invite one person into the game, i am sure he also gave up after he stuck around for a bit...

My mentor and a couple of my other friends had left the game even after making it to level 80 for some reasons best known to them, there was no motivation for me to play anymore after those that me more determined to get to level 80 already exited the game..

The game got boring as i felt like i was not making any progress at all, and that was how i decided to use the exit door, and since then i never looked back. I didn't even know how the project was going and just focused on my blogging career....

In summary, I ended up with nothing, even after playing it for months, i can't say i had any favorite cards because i didn't stay that long to know and understand the importance of those cards, i only knew little about them. I don't even have a favorite feature in the game, but thinking deep about it i think i love the soundtrack of the game...

The only thing i can do to an extent is giving tutorials to a newbie, and that is just only on the basics of the game. I won't be able to do much because i myself don't really know much about the game anymore, and that's because it's been so long since i used the door. I think it's high-time i reconsidered hopping on the game again. I have started seeing some big waves on it since i return back to hive, and i think it's worth exploring again, i am sure there are new things to explore. Let's see what has changed since the last time i was here...

So sorry you found the game boring. We are always open to suggestions and you can discuss ideas or ask for help in our Discord.

Did you know there is now Raves, Hotel Buskeria, The Pawn Shop and PRO charts in the game?

Maybe you will feel like giving it another go.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Buskeria!
