Last weekend was indeed a great weekend for me, both as a football fan and a big lover of weekend. As a football fan, the last time i had a weekend as great as this was many months ago, and that’s mainly because my team hasn’t given me the opportunity to enjoy them, especially with their recent performance and back to back losses in the last couple of weeks. This weekend happened to be best after a long time, and that’s of the great game the boys played against West ham United yesterday…
My rants about the team's gameplay, which has caused them so many losses in the premier league competition has been so consistent that i just couldn’t help but take a temporary indefinite leave off the football world. I was too heartbroken to keep watching them play poorly, and that too without any major reason. This back to back losses started earlier this season, if only ARNE SLOT didn’t let off some of our main assets in the team, especially the likes of LUIZ DIAZ…

I was very disappointed and shocked to hear about Luiz Diaz exit to Bundesliga. Luiz Diaz has been one of our main support system in the team for many seasons now, he has always been a great player and a cooperative teammate. He was the best man we could ever have in the team, he worked well with the team and the results were amazing. Honestly, I still don’t know the real reason why Luiz Diaz left the team. I remember checking the internet weeks ago to confirm the reason why he left, all i got were different informations about the situation surrounding his exit, including End of contract and salary negotiations. These two things were the end result of my search…
The team was already bad with the loss of one of our best forwards; DIOGO JOTA, after that was the unexpected exit of Luiz Diaz. Jota passed away many months ago in an accident. and that alone shook the whole team, he was a brother to all and the news of his passing really weighed down on the team’s performance, but then they still made sure to bag the wins…
After the exit of so many great players, Slot decided to replace them with another set of great players from different teams. We had Hugo, Isak, Frimpong, Kerkez, Wirtz and so on. Honestly, I haven’t seen much of these guys since they joined us this season, emphasis on the word much. I have seen their gameplays this season, and that too in different competitions, so if i’m to compare their games with that of our exited players, i’d still say they are behind…
Well, that’s all in the past, what will happen has happened, it’s time to focus on the journey ahead…

Last weekend, Alexander Isak, whom we bought for 145 million pounds scored his first goal for the team since his arrival, with an assist from Cody Gakpo. Cody sealed off the win with his late goal to give us a 2 nil win in the London Stadium. I decided to watch the game’s highlights after going through the statistical data of the whole game, and from what i saw there, the boys really went there with their best game…
I watched an 8 minutes highlights and couldn’t help but give the teams the accolades they deserve. They really did well yesterday. I just hope this is the beginning of their comeback. We are currently in the 8th position, last I checked we were 11th, that’s a good start. I just hope they keep bagging those wins, enough is enough with all the back to back losses…
