FAMILY AND BALANCE

Family as they say is the bedrock of every society, which is very true because every child is first birthed into a family before going into the society and the way that child behaves outside is a product of everything that has been learned from the home either consciously or unconsciously and that's how the society is also formed because the society is different individuals coming from different homes, families and cultural backgrounds to form a group called the society.

Now, I am no saint, but I know of a truth that the families coming up nowadays, we all need Jesus. I could remember how my Dad would always say to us when we were younger and at home that "the way you think is not the way others think". I have written a post about how I lived in a neighborhood where my parents never allowed us to play with the outsiders because of what they saw, I grew up knowing that once you're out there playing (that is if and only if my parents permit it) and you see my mum or Dad walk past you please whatever play you're playing no matter how interesting it is leave that play and follow them home. I used to think it was bondage, but I now understand because there are things I would want to do, but when I reason what my parents or siblings will do to me 😁 I have no other choice than to comport myself.

With the way things are going on on the Internet these days, you would want to question the background these people came from and what is their family doing about it, you might want to say they are adults and grown and can do whatever they like with their lives but "train up a child in the way he should go so when he is old he would not depart from it" like said before I am no saint I have on many occasions been tempted to do what others and I did it once it did not end well at all when I say it did not end well I mean it did not end well, it ended in tears 😭 . The other time, when we were discussing a live show about a woman who died, this whole thing happened at night, and the story summarizes that she was sick and her husband was not around (he traveled for work), and the kids left their sick mother, what am I even saying? Grown-up adults left their sick mum and went to the club. From there, they went to their friend's house and stayed for a while, three days, whereas they had a sick mum at home and she slumped while bathing in the bathroom, after bleeding too much she passed on. Some claim she didn't train the kids well others said the kids used her for .........

My own case was that I visited a distant family member who lives in the street across, and of course, with the permission of my parents, on getting there, she decided to visit a friend and carried me along, and we slept over at her friend's place. Immediately I woke up the following day I knew I was done for my mother beat, she beat ........ Hmmm. Nowadays we see pictures and videos of girls and boys doing what they feel like online, what comes to my mind all the time is don't they have family members? I am asking because if I try that, OMG 😳 it will be another story entirely.
Family is the bedrock of every society please mold yours well and that does not mean you should turn into a monster while training your kids, be present and give them a listening ear, because a child should say"lemme talk to my mum first " when something bad happens than " I can't talk to my mum or parents about this they will kill me". Let there be a balance, balance baby.
