The greatest love I have experienced

I have been experiencing incredible healthy relationships with my siblings right from the childhood stage. They have been a great source of support for me, and unarguably, they are one of the greatest love I have experienced since my existence, which has impacted me deeply.

Here in my part of the world, I have seen families with toxic relationships between their siblings, unhealthy relationships, and even competition that exists between siblings in a family I know very well. Then I began to wonder: aren't these people from the same womb? Didn't they suck from the same breast through their mother? Same blood? What went wrong after all? They said that blood is thicker than water. In some cases, some of these siblings I am describing here get love from outsiders far more than their own blood sisters and brothers; it's always fights and disagreements that attract the neighbors. This can be so devastating and very unpleasant, if you ask me.
Love is the greatest of all, and it's the one thing that could make our society great. Charity begins at home, as it's rightly said, and it's only when this love is practiced right from our various homes that it can be spread easily to society at large. After all, you can't give what you don't have.

I have five siblings, three brothers and two sisters; overall, we are six, and I am the fifth child of my parents.

My older siblings have been an amazing role model to me; they set the right path for me to follow, which I am grateful for. Through their actions, I learned to show love, care, and support to my younger sibling and to them as well, and unconsciously, it affected me positively in how I relate to others outside my family.

I am from an average home, and being that I lost my dad at an early age, my eldest brother never allowed the vacuum created by my dad's demise to affect my siblings and me. He has been playing a father role to us till date. Even as a university student then, he still hustles to earn and extends a helping hand to us financially, supporting my mom for our academics. Going further, my elder sister and my immediate elder brother finished school and joined hands together in supporting me, showing concern, encouragement, and love. Even when there were different reasons for me to forteit admission, my siblings worked together to make sure that I scaled through.

I call them my support system because, in every aspect of my life, they have been greatly involved and supportive, this is a great love. Whenever I am down spiritually, they help build up my spiritual life, reminding me of how important it is for me to be spiritually sound in our world today. When I chose my career in life, my siblings carried it on their heads, providing advice through experience. In sickness, they have been showing me love that looks therapeutic. Financially, they have been coming through for me in my difficult times, making the burden look lighter.

The communication that exists between us bonds us even more, and the love keeps growing without end. It is this communication that helps us know when anyone one of us needs help in any way and thus provides support in our capacity. The love has been massive. I was thinking that once I got married, the love would reduce, but that is when I started experiencing greater love. They do not only show me exceptional love but extend it to my children and my husband. Earlier this year, when my husband lost his job, my siblings came through for me, supporting us financially and sending food from time to time. This action made me so emotional and taught me a great lesson on how to show love to others even through kind words, providing healing to broken hearts.

If I continue to express the kind of love I have been experiencing from my siblings from childhood to date, then I may write a term paper on this post. I can't ask for a better sibling than the one my creator has given me. The love has been huge and has greatly impacted my way of reasoning,my relationships with others, and my lifestyle generally.

Wow, isn't this beautiful?

I know a man who always said that, even when you are not rich and you have a good family, life will be beautiful for you. I enjoyed reading can tell that there is great love in your family.

If a lot of families could learn from you guys, I can bet that the world would be a lot better than it is.
