Hive Hangout On My Mind.

Huhm, well, I've never been part of the Hive weekend hangouts, but there was a time I saw @vickoly and @nkemakonam89 post something, I think sometimes last year; I can't really recall, but I was sure that was some sort of meetup or hangout. There were other people there too; I saw the way they had fun and visited some places. I don't know if that was related to this samhangouts or not. But then, I've read about this too. I've seen various write-ups, including that of @afrikens, and it really makes me feel as if I was missing out.

Just imagine seeing and meeting people all over Nigeria at a place, those that you've only met, talked to, or seen their works online. Now gathered at a place laughing, sharing memories, eating, discussing, and all. That energy is definitely a different one, and it's something I am looking forward to. Going through certain posts makes me really want to be a part of it. Imagine how singing some old childhood rhymes like *"Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," "Roll Roll Roll Your Boat," and the like can bring, connect, and make adults laugh. Thinking about it now, there are certain rhymes that I still don't know, and I imagine singing it at a place like that, and someone looks at me and is like, "as how naw, if na so den sing am, you go like am. And still get corrected while laughing it off.

Then talking about the various frontends, I can see how it is that some got to know about and the usage of certain frontends through wonderful initiatives like these hangouts. People talk about PeakD, Inleo, Ecency, hive.blog, and the like. It's interesting to see and learn about these frontends while knowing the different go-to platforms of your friends. I, for one, don't even know about Ecency and hive.blog; I'm either using PeakD or Inleo. I've seen most people use them; I've just never tried it out. Not only that, but I'm sure they all have their features, but then I read how some people love to explore and make use of it all at intervals. I'm really, really curious, and I do want to know about it and try that too. Aside from the writing aspect, you get to meet the brain behind certain initiatives and all, you get to really know what the other person has been doing as well, and you get to learn and really feel among.

To be honest, what excites me most is the idea of meeting all of these beautiful people, people from various walks of life all gathered together to make/do something memorable. Being able to meet and connect with people I would never have known/met is exciting on its own. Being able to make new friends, joke, plan, and such is something I can't wait to experience. There was a time I came across a video as well, I think it was a video of @samostically talking about an hangouts being work towards. All of those interest me. That seems to be more of physical, and I guess this is still online.
Still hoping to know and learn more though.

I really hope to be a part of it soon, to meet new people, to laugh, to discuss, and to feel like part of the family. It would be amazing and memorable. I'm sure of that. I wouldn't just make friends and meet new people; I know I will also learn a lot of things while having the time to ask questions too. Until then...we keep going.
