Are We Really Ready For The Whole Truth?
So, I woke up this morning and was imagining something; guess what it was? A world without lies.
I mean, imagine waking up to a world where lies no longer exist; no matter how much you try to, you just cannot lie anymore. If someone asks if you did something, you can't help but to tell the truth; it will just come naturally the same way you often lie naturally.
What do you think of such a world, a world where you can't even fake compliments? If a friend asks that you rate their work or outfit, you won't be able to cut corners but just say it as it is. What do you think of such a world?
You know exactly why this pops up; it actually came up due to the various things I've been thinking about my country, especially our corrupt, greedy, and selfish leaders.
You know, imagine Nigeria where the president, governor, senators, House of Representatives members, local government chairmen, and all can no longer tell lies or forge certificates. Like they would have no choice but to say things as they are. They won't even be able to lie about their agendas if voted into power. Rigging would be a thing of the past ...
Other than politics, what do you think of a world like that? Do you think lies also have their own role to play? Like when you need to compliment a friend, you don't want them to feel bad, so you try to rate them higher than they actually look. Or when your child did something, he/she didn't do it well and needs a well-done to feel encouraged, what would you do?
I'm saying all of this because we always ask and seek transparency; we say we always want the truth, but there are certain truths that are best hidden. I mean, are you really sure you're ready to hear each and every truth? Do you think you can handle it? Can you say all your own truths out? Will you feel okay or safe?
I'm asking that you think deeply about it, about various things, and answer honestly: do you really want to hear every truth?
Truth can and will set you free, but sometimes truth can as we change your life completely...

Sounds great doesn't it a world without lies, the problem is most people could not cope with it, cause people forget the truth can be brutal and see the white lies people say to stop people getting their feelings hurt they would be gone too.
People think they want the truth all the time but trust me they do not.
Try it out amonst friends and family yourself only tell them the truth and remember if someone asks you must tell them the truth regardless.
I am telling you they will get upset with you constantly telling them the truth, sometimes we have to lie to save someones feelings or even to give them a confidence boost and many more other reasons.
I rarely lie and even i have had to tell white lies to people or you will have no one around you because you will be hurting peoples feelings everyday, i know cause it happened to me.
I even ask people when they ask me questions do you want the raw truth or as fluffy version and rarely do people say the raw truth.
"I will have the fluffy version Ben please my emotions are a little fragile today".
There is no place and completely impossible to have a world without lies.
See hidden truths, how do hide that if asked oh yeah that is right with lies.
It sounds great but most people do not want that cause it is a world most people simply would hate very quickly.
Personally i would love it as i would not have to monitor my words anymore.
