My experience on Sunday afternoon

Introduction

Good morning Naija, how's everything going? I hope the high cost of fuel is making things not too difficult for us. With time things will be better in our precious country Nigeria. I was offline for some weeks because of some personal issues I had to solve but now am convinced that am fully back. Today I just want to talk about my experience on Sunday afternoon as I attended a meeting.

My experience on Sunday afternoon

On Sunday which was the 5th day of November 2023, I went to church with my family and we had a very good time in the church. I attend catholic church and I have always been a catholic right from when I was born. Am currently an altar server in my church and am the president of this association.

I didn't serve mass that Wednesday because I had few things to do but I attended the mass like I said earlier. That Sunday the executives of the denary in this association, will be holding a meeting by 1om prompt. My fellow church member followed me to the catholic church the meeting will be held.

As soon as my fellow church member arrived at the church, we called the denary president so that he can tell us where the meeting iis holding in the church. We finally arrived and saw only three people among the 11 denary executives. We arrived at the church by 2pm and the guys we met said we are one hour late but luckily for us the meeting hasn't begun.

We prayed and started because we were now six in number, we talked about how we are going to hold our last denary for the year next Sunday, we set out agenda for the meetings and we also set out lists of catholic churches in our denary that will host denary meetings next year and also the dates for the meetings. While the meeting was going on, two other guys came again, the treasurer and the PRO.

I was just excited throughout the meeting for no reason, Sunday was a very cool and peaceful day to me. I even saw myself bringing out do many suggestions and that's unlike me. In meetings I don't talk too much, except the meeting in my church whereby am the president of that association. We concluded and ended the meeting few minutes later, everything was fully set and luckily for me, my parish wasn't selected to host the denary next year, we don't have much money for that 😂.

We prayed and talked and laughed for a while before we later left the church compound and saw our PRO 2, is now he's coming to the meeting after we have closed. He has wasted his transport fare because he will have to go back home. We laughed at him and he began to plead that we should continue the meeting, we disagreed, instead the president gave him highlights of how the meeting went. Everyone later went home.

Conclusion

I arrived home and ate lunch, I took my phone which is almost switched off and I went straight to a bet9ja center so that I can charge it before it gets to 8pm. Sunday was just a wonderful day to me.
