Sam's Hangout and the Experience

Joining this blockchain and this space, Hive, was wonderful, interesting and beautiful. To have that opportunity to be yourself in your content, with control of your account and everything therein, and also learning day by day, while forming some sort of collaboration was worth the whole blockchain package.

Coming into the space and navigating around led me to a community of Nigerians－Hive Naija. Of course, I'm one. We always appreciate coming across one another anywhere it might be. Hive blockchain was no different. It was cool to find such a community, of my fellow compatriots. I feel like there's this level of understanding we have for one another that makes it interesting whenever we come across.

Well, you would think that's all. Not yet. Because we don't fail to light up the place wherever we go, I found out some time later about this wonderful weekend hangout; Sam's Hangout powered by @sam.hangout. Who dragged me there I can't really tell now, but I guess it shouldn't be far from @beckyroyal or @emreal. The good thing is, I joined the hangout and it's been a wonderful experience.

I've already made enough noise about how we tend to introduce joy and energy into a space right? This is a definition of it, and it's one of the cool things on this blockchain. It's like a medium that brings us together in that one spirit and helps build friendship in this space as well. The hangout brings the feeling of having that conversation in the “Naija” spirit－the fun, the laughs, the “cruise”, the lessons, and many more. And this brings me to the topics.

Before I talk about the topics from this hangout and perhaps, my best one, let me ask you reader if you're part of the hangout. If not, kindly join the cruise; not the ship. Chuckles. Okay, I'm back. So, on the topics... first of all, I can't really tell which was the first topic discussion I participated in, but one I remember was “Love Vs Financial Security.” There was a lot from it. Did it surprise me that many chose money? Of course not. I might choose it too, just might. Perhaps, my true colours will show when the money comes. Chuckles.

Then the previous one about “Fun Facts.” I really gained some new knowledge. Like when @empressjay and @fashtioluwa mentioned some interesting ones. I couldn't go through a lot but these interested me when I saw them. Although I'm still thinking of trying what @fashtioluwa stated, hopefully I don't get burned or burn somebody's house. Haha. It was an interesting hangout nevertheless.

I've not been a massive engager, due to one or several duties but I try to dive in as much as I can. Thankfully, @beckyroyal has done well to drag me in many times from the mountain. Sometimes, @lecia89 invites me to “chook my mouth” too on the matter being discussed. It's amazing place to be. If it were not for Sam's Hangout, how would I have had an owambe reservation with @beckyroyal? She's yet to honour it, but I know she will.
