A BEGINNER’S INTRO.

Hey there!!!
I’m Blessing James. In five minutes or less, I’ll be giving you a smooth tour about! And believe me. I promise not to be boring. (Psssst!!! Read it to the end)

I’ve got a nickname, Aircomm, which originates from my traditional name, (won’t say). Believe me, the nickname holds no meaning, but I am so attached to it. I am a Nigerian, and I believe in God.

I derive joy when I do God’s work. When I’m not in church, you’ll always find me with my family. I really love and enjoy making memories with them. I’ve got few friends I hang out with. And since we’re all hustling adults, I’m mostly alone with my phone.

As a Nigerian, I have my native language. I also speak and write English, pidgin and a little Yoruba. I’m not really interested in learning new languages, but I appreciate and admire people who speak several languages. I’m currently taking a course on Esperanto, French and Spanish language (little secret, I stopped the Spanish class, it was quite difficult for me). I love some accents, that’s why I chose these languages to learn. If only I could add, Italian, Latin, Hebrew, Korean, to the languages I am currently learning or speak. I know it’ll take some level of patience, hard practice and dedication, which I’m really not ready for.

Well, life didn’t end when my business hit the rock, making me an unemployed young lady at the moment. I’m also struggling not to be a school drop out cause the high cost of living has never favored the unemployed.

I love writing about anything and everything. Be it love, death, life, family, etc. Although, you’ll find me write more about sad themes as I easily connect with it. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m always happy, I’m only more into writing “what ifs). As much as I love writing, I am a very lazy writer. I procrastinate a lot. (Big example, it took me two weeks to write this introduction). You’ll always find me with a pen and an everly blank book. Most times, I start writing, and once the mood goes off, I stop. I hardly complete an unfinished topic. My writing just has to sync with the environment’s energy, cause I love being real and original.

I’m an Aries!!! (If you’re a zodiac person). I am a strong ChlorSan, if you do temperament. I got into these things to be able to identify my weaknesses and strengths, and work on them in order to relate with humans better. Why? I’m really not a people’s person. I don’t enjoy meeting new people. I love my space and I also have severe trust issues. I hardly socialize, cause I’m always indoors, with my phone, looking for ways to improve myself on the several things I venture into.

For a choleric, it’s no news that we hardly finish a project. We just love starting. (Like I stated earlier, I’m working on it!). I have ventured into many things, some of which, one can rate me a four out of ten. I have knowledge in boxing, ballet, writing, video and photo editing, DIYs, project management, decoration and drama, makeup and hair making, catering and pastries, freelance writing, phone photography and what have you! I just enjoy acquiring knowledge. I don’t care if it is useful to me or not, I just want to know. (And yes, most of these knowledge have been really useful).

I love good movies (most times, I check the ratings and reviews before watching them), reading, playing, playing games, editing, writing, basically, any fun activity. I love good adventures too. I really wish I could add swimming to this list. (I’m yet to have me a good instructor). I’m not scared of heights but I’m very scared of falling (funny, zn’t it? That’s why I don’t wear heels for long). I also fear rejection, that’s why I continuously thrive to improve myself whenever I can.

If perfectionism were a person, it would have been me. I believe in “what’s worth doing is what doing well”. In truth, this is the reason why it took me this long to drop my first post on hive. Why put it up if it isn’t perfect? I want to have the smiles of a proud parent when I see these works in the future. This wouldn’t have gone up now, but my lady @treasuree has promised to deal with me if I don’t make the post today.

Big shout outs to @treasuree for introducing me to this platform, Hive. I promise to make the most of it.
