Seriously this topic is so sensitive and until it happens to you, you think you're perfect. Do you get?
in the sense that, money is a spirit on its own. Money has this spirit that if you are not conscious enough and careful to still behave well, the spirit of money will override your true self.

Its not because we are not really getting the same attention we've always been getting before that makes us think they changed but then these people acts and doings actually changes from fierce to fiery furnace.

For me, thank God for the inclusion of the phrase "what will you would consciously protect" cos no one is free unless you're conscious of your ways and acts else it is still possible that you get carried away by the spirit of money. So I'll be conscious of my attitude, the way I care and look out for people around me.
