Who Is A Strong Man?

My Naija people!! How una dey!

We are all created to be different and the difference in our creation is what makes life a fun place to live, imagine we are all created the same way with the same character. I am sure it would be so boring. Though I have had some crazy thoughts about it in the past, in the end, I realize that life won't work that way.

The ability to have different behaviors is what makes us have a reason to accommodate each other. Imagine everyone in the world has anger issues don't you think we were created to wage war amongst ourselves that way? But when one has a calm behavior it will surely complement that of the other person who doesn’t.

This is why when people get into relationships, they tend to have a partner who is the opposite of their traits. If one is calm, then the other shouldn’t. And if one has anger issues or is stubborn in some way, then the other shouldn’t. That way, they would have a nice time together. When you see a hot family, then check well, and you will see that they are two angry and frustrated birds who came together as one.

How I handle Anger

Once upon a time, I was the type who always expressed my anger immediately and sometimes immaturely. I guess that's just some stage of life we have to pass through. When reality began to check in, when I started to understand more about life, I realized that there was nothing to gain from expressing my anger without caution.

Anger doesn’t birth anything other than destruction. So this is why it is so necessary to learn how to control it. I remember years back when we were younger. My elder brother and I had plans of planting maize, I think for the first time in our life. We worked so hard to get the maize seeds, till the soil, and also plant it. We were so happy to see it grow as time passed by.

We patiently waited for it to get to the stage of seedlings and we can't wait to have our harvests. But one day something happened. I can’t remember what my sister and I did to him that day. His next line of action was that he angrily went inside, took a cutlass, and cut down all the maize we planted for months.

In the end, his anger subsided, and then we started staring at the dead maize that we were about to harvest in just a few weeks. The moral was that it took years to build up something, but it takes just a few seconds to destroy them all. One of the biggest agents of destruction is Anger.

Right now, I have learned to control my anger so much that I would rather remain silent than say or take any unnecessary action that would definitely lead to regret in the end. Though there are some times I take actions, but out of controlled anger. If I am not silent as a reaction, then I am walking away.

Walking away shows that the pressure and level of annoyance are getting so much that I might not be able to bear it. So when I am away from your sight, tell me how you will continue to do things that will get me annoyed? I will calm myself somewhere and get back to my normal ways when my mind is free.

In conclusion

There is nothing to gain from anger, so it's best to learn how to have it controlled. A strong man is not the man who can fight and injure his opponent, but he is the man who can control his anger when annoyed.

Okay that kind of anger isn't good at all 😂😂, why cut down all the maize. A mismanaged anger only leave the victim ashamed at the end when it has subsided.

Yes ooo, anger only steals, kills and destroys. We should always make sure we manage it

That’s the fact about it. It’s left to us to handle
