The Jobs We Did to Survive That We Would Never Do Again

Alot of us have delve into different kind of jobs during trying periods so we can earn more money to make ends meet and some of these jumps or side hustle we did are so unusual or somewhat strange that If you ask some people they'll tell you they can never do such jobs again. It's actually understandable for people to feel that way and that's because not all side hustle they delve into are decent or something that should be proudly spoken about. Not that I've done a shady side hustle myself, but just that not all are what I can side do today and I've also seen some people did some that are just bad all in the name of trying to survive and I'm certain not many of these people will be willing to do such again.

Take for instance, during my undergraduate days, I've seen friends and coursemate who delve into cyber crimes just because they're desperately in need of money, I've also seen ladies who out of desperation to make money delve into things like hookup, Olosho and the likes, many of these ladies are now married and I'm certain their spouse knows nothing about it and they'll probably most likely not go to such kind of jobs again. Talking about myself though, I've also delve into different kind of side hustle both in school and before school just to earn money, some of which are as stated below.

During tough times I've worked as a labourer for bricklayers and tilers, carrying cement, blocks, tiles and even mixing sand, granite and cement together for their work, back then I work when labourers were paid just ₦500, then work through how the pay evolve and increase to ₦1,500, I don't know how much it's done now, but one thing I know is that it's not a job I'll do again and that's because I felt the stress involved is far greater than what is being paid, beside their are lots of simple soft skills and job I'll do now that can get me what they pay labourers now and even more in shorter periods.

Another Usual job or side hustle I did when I was in need of money was working as a living statue during a school interhouse sport competition some years ago, I had to paint my body with paint and even carbide when we couldn't afford the paint required. This was a terrible Idea that almost damaged my skin bad then, and given my experience of the job, I don't think I'll ever do it again. Yes, it pay the bill back then and I even anticipated it during that period because of my needs, but Today I won't do such again. I remember I was recommended to the job my neighbour who happened to be a chef at the school, back then.
