To make Hive great again

The Hive Blockchain like I have said over time is one of the platforms that has always made one to have his or her potentials a reality. For someone like me, maybe I wouldn't have known some facts about myself if not for the reason and existence of the Hive Blockchain. So, the Hive Blockchain has really been a good influence on me and I would say a big thank you to this great platform for the opportunity given to me to be a part of it.
Having said that, I would like to delve into the topic of the prompt which is all about, "what can be done to make the Hive better."
As for me I would say that most of the things to be done to make the Hive better and to improve the Blockchain have already been put in place, just for those things to be maintained and improved on where necessary. Such things include the reward system, the reward system which was once good has really depreciated. Although we all know the current situation of cryptocurrency which is really going down, if something else can be done to the reward system, I think the Blockchain will witness a better change than before.
Also, aside from this, the originality of the content matters a lot when it comes to the Hive Blockchain. This should not be tampered with but seriously maintained so as to maintain the status for which the Blockchain is known for. Anything short of originality on the Blockchain should be muted and discouraged.
Finally, engagement should also be prioritized on the Blockchain. This has really connected people on the Blockchain and this should be maintained and improved on if necessary.
All these if properly maintained and improved would help to make the Hive Blockchain a better place to be than before.

HIVE managed to create a successful rewards program. I think the platform would have a great future if we focused on that strength.
Unfortunately, the players in the platform keep using HIVE for get rich quick schemes like the BRO ecosystem, the Leo Strategies fiasco and the 20% interest on HBD.
The HBD scheme is the most problematic scheme. So, we were paying 20% interest on HBD. The problem is that HBD can be converted into HIVE, Just this year we've seen over 550,000 HBD converted to about 11 million HIVE.
The interest swamped the HIVE ecosystem.
One thing people can do to improve HIVE is for people to go to their witness list and remove upvotes from people wanting more than 10% interest and voting for active witnesses who selected 10% or less.
Voting down the HBD interest rate indicates to the witnesses that we are tired of the players playing get rich schemes and want leaders who focus on the protecting the value of the rewards pool.
