I remember my school days like it was yesterday. It was no small feat, especially after I had to put myself through school at one point. I remember how I lived from hand to mouth, struggling every single day just to make ends meet. I was not one of those kinds who ever received foodstuffs and provision from home. At one point, I even had to pay for my textbooks and school fees alongside every other miscellaneous fee in school. It was as though I was carrying the whole world on my shoulders and that period forged a man out of me.

At the beginning all was well, although I was not getting foodstuffs, but I was getting weekly allowances which went a long way until my dads business crashed and I had to drop out for a while. After three years out of school, I went back on my own to not just school but also to make ends meet and that was when I started working to survive, a few times I got assistance from home, and even that is barely enough to carry me for two days. Seeing how things were, I needed to do something and do it fast.
I started doing graphic designs and social media management jobs for people, then I also started doing assignments for students. Apart from that I was also working with a company as an assistant social media manager as a part time job which helped me grow my skills as a social media manager. It was not easy because the graphic design jobs do not come all the time, the assignments also do not come everyday, but they sustained me daily and helped me save up to pay for textbooks and departmental fees. If I get good design deals, I use it to save up for my school fees, and when it is not enough, I look up to God for a solution, and I was never disappointed.
