Hive is one of the best things that happened to a lot of us. Even with the way hive it’s low, it still manages to pay some little bills at the end of the day. Although I must admit with the way things are, I am not as active as I used to be on the blockchain. And although there are those who would be surprised about it because I come here everyday to write, the truth still remains that it is not up to the way I previously visited the blockchain. Before now I would spend hours on the blockchain commenting and sometimes writing twice a day, but now, I just do the needful and leave.

This is because even though I have made a lot of friends, the value of from the blockchain is really low. I have discovered that one of the contributing factors to this is the fact that there are more people withdrawing than there are people investing. I have met a couple of investors who turned down the hive project because of one common reason. These people have the financial backing to support the blockchain, but a lot of them want to handle things themselves while staying totally invisible and hive thrive on transparency. These people do not like the idea of people knowing how much they have in their wallet and for that reason they have decided not to join at all.
I can imagine how many whales that have refused to join for the same reason, and with the way hive is, even with hard work and all, becoming a whale just by writing alone will take a considerable number of years. I am still a long way from being a dolphin even with how long I have been on the blockchain partly because I had to power down at some point. But if there is one thing I will change, it is a way for whales especially to hide their account and limit a level of transparency. I think it would help them feel safe investing in the blockchain.
