I STILL REMEMBER

If there is one thing I will never forget, it is how I missed the opportunity to invest in BTC in 2015 when it was at a low of $150. I had over $1,000 then, but knew very little about the crypto world. I wanted to invest and my mum really discouraged me from investing in it calling it a scheme to lure us into darkness. Well now I am wishing I was lured into that darkness. But I think the only reason I didn’t pull through with it was simply because I knew very little about it. I really wish I knew more then, I know I would have not listened to my mum. I ended up investing in MMM later that year and followed it till it eventually crashed.

It wasn’t just the fact that I knew very little about crypto, it was the fact that I knew very little about investment. I had money then but did not really know what to do with it and there was no one to advise me on what to do with the money I had until I wasted it all on ponzi schemes and lost everything. It wasn’t easy, you know, one moment I was rich, and another moment I was poor and could not afford anything. This was not because I was always like that, but because I did not know how to make good use of what I had.

When they say knowledge is power, this is one big instance. If I have now an equivalent of what I had then coupled with the opportunities that were provided, I will be making a totally different decision because I now know more. It’s too late to regret now, and as they say opportunities come but once, mine came in different ways, at different times, but I was blinded by illiteracy not from school, but about money management and investments.
