Title: A Love Story.
Well, we all have at least one love story. It might not be the type that ended in marriage or happily ever after. Even still, we want to hear your love story. Tell us one from your many experiences 🫣; it might be weird, childish, funny, strange, or even very meaningful. There are love stories that we remember and laugh at ourselves, while some make us pause and take a deep breath.
So, this week, as it is a love season, we want you to tell us one love story. It could be your first crush, love from school days, online ones, long-distance ones...any at all.
We would love it if you still remembered certain details about it; it's just so we could all have an amazing read. This is a safe space, so feel free to let it all out.
There was a time I was dating a girl online; it's about 12 years ago now. And believe me, I really loved this girl. I was still young, though; along the line, I got to know her twin sis as well, and we got close.
I was already picturing the future with her even though we never met physically. You understand da kain thing naw. Well, life happened, and her phone got spoiled; I couldn't reach her or her twin. Not long after, my phone got spoiled too. And that was how we lost communication. I can very well remember disturbing my bro to keep checking her Facebook page just in case...but my bro won't stop talking sense into my head as well.
That was the end of the relationship. I just kept hoping she was good. Fast-forward to two years ago; we found each other... online 😁. We talked and laughed about the past and all, but then everyone had moved on. And even till today, we are yet to meet physically. She's planning her wedding soon; maybe then I might decide to attend and see her.
That's one of my few love stories; it's your turn to tell us yours. It might not be one that lasted years, but one that really stayed with you and shaped you.
Personally, I can't wait to read your stories. So, let's get it rolling in.

Hehe. What a bitter-sweet love story. I can't imagine you seeing her for the first time on her wedding, after such a long time. I'll be putting out an entry today and can't wait to write my heart out.
Happy new week, friends.
