Title: Regret
We all are humans, and I'm sure we've all had a moment or a time that made us cringe when we look or think back. It might be a decision that we made, a vow, a promise, a word that was said, or an opportunity that passed us by.

And while we understand that some of these regrets are small or the effects are little, we can't deny that there are big ones too, and the effects they had were big, and all those regrets, either big or small, are what add up together to shape us into who we are today.

This week, we ask that you share with us that deep, simple, small, or big regret that you had. Was it an academic regret, a relationship regret, or anything at all? Tell us if you wish you could undo it now, and maybe if you had the chance, you would have done or handled the situation differently. Regrets most times do haunt; does yours haunt you too?

Here's a snapshot from my life. I had a time in school when my lecturer asked a question, but I didn't speak up even though I knew it. The man asked if anyone knew the answer; a lady raised up her hand the second time the man asked. The man asked the third time, which was the last time, and still I stayed silent even though I knew the answer. Well, the man asked the lady to go ahead and answer the question since no one else had an answer, so she did. The lady was given a scholarship form to fill out later at the end of the class; she didn't even answer the question the best way I would have. That moment I hesitated is one that still haunts me till now. I wasn't expecting such from that man; I knew him so well. The most he would have done was to give you a pat on the back or a handshake; I never saw the scholarship coming. And every time I remember that moment, I wonder where I would have been by now.
