A Fresh Start, A Fresh Perspective

New beginnings are great, they are worth celebrating and they set us up for greatness, but sometimes they can be a bit overwhelming.

Starting a new job, school, business, or career, or moving to a new city, can be exciting and adventurous, but your patience will surely be tested.
After all the excitement and enthusiasm comes the real work and reality check.

When you begin to understand that the journey was never as smooth as you thought, nor was it as simple as you had envisaged, you can’t help but ask yourself some pertinent questions: “Am I doing the right thing?” “Did I make the right decision?” “Is it going to work?” “Should I stop at this point?”

New beginnings can come with their own setbacks and challenges. It can break or push you to your limit, and it can turn your life around; it just depends on how you handle it.
Are you patient enough to get through the figuring-out or struggling phase? Or you’d rather give up without trying? The ball is in your court.

New chapters require a different version of you. A version with stronger willpower to succeed. Being comfortable doesn’t create transformation, but determination, patience, and willpower do. Growth was never meant to be comfortable. It requires faith, resilience, and the courage to keep showing up. Sometimes the discomfort is proof that you’re evolving.

For someone starting all over in a new place, I’ve been forced to ask myself these questions every time I face a challenge. I don’t know when it will all begin to make sense, but I’m willing to wait it out and trust in God and my instincts that I made the right decision for myself.

So till I get the hang of everything happening around me, fingers crossed😃
