Excellent! Thank you for that. I'm really looking forward to reading more about your life trees... That birch in Finland is actually still in the family so getting a photo would be easy. I'm just a bit worried it might not live up to my memory!
aha!!! That is always a possibility. It's funny how some things from our childhood made such an impression at an early age... but now that we are all grown, appear to be less impactful when we encounter them again... Over the years, they have lost their sense of presence - the shift in perspective and view as we age (literally - we are taller now, everything looks smaller than it once did in our world!) can make for bitter-sweet reunions. I hope you can capture just a little of the magic tucked away in the recesses of your mind and heart. I shall look at pulling something together - I think it's incredible how many memories are woven into the roots of the trees of our lives. Now just to carve out a little time... and that reminds me of another old tree hehe... or should I say dead tree stump! !ALIVE
