Yashfeen's Baptism and 1st Birthday Celebration and Reunion with My Highschool Friends

Today, I want to share to you the baptism and first birthday of my first child, Yashfeen Akilah. She is now four years old.

Back in 2022, we decided to save time, money and effort. We made her baptism scheduled on the day of her birthday.

We celebrated two important occasions in one. My husband and I thought of that planned thoroughly. We considered the budget and the time of the important people we would like to be present in these events.

We saved time and energy from preparing for two different occasions. Cut cost from spending from two different food and giveaways for the visitors. Isn't it a smart thing? 😉

Aside from our families, the godparents we asked to come were all present. They are mostly my classmates back in high school.

I am thankful for their presence during that day. We had picture taking. We ate foods cooked by my family. We enjoyed the company of each other.

More importantly, I am thankful to God for giving me a beautiful daughter. For the gift of life He has bestowed on her and my whole family and friends. And that day made my daughter a daughter of God.

Also, the celebration became instrumental for me to reunite with my high school friends.
