A November Throwback: From Craving To A Little Fun!
Last year around November, I was seriously craving shawarma with chilled yoghurt. So I walked into Chicken Republic at Obikabia Junction to treat myself.
The environment caught my eye first — the artwork on the counter, on the walls, clean setup, everything just looked good. Honestly, I was impressed.
So, I placed my order, sat down to wait and also take in the environment. The mural on that counter was giving out a kind of party vibe, and I loved it.
Sharwma ready, I went to pay, and that's when I got to know they were running a "scratch to win" promo! Interesting.
So, I paid, got a card, scratched it and urghh! I didn't win anything. Not even two symbols matched, talk more of three. Winning something would have made my day. But no qualms. At least, I enjoyed playing it, and that's what matters.
Honestly, the scratch to win promon was a nice initiative. I think Chicken Republic did it to appreciate customers and equally spice up their service.
