Memoir Monday #30 (9/30-10/6) - How do you plan to spend the next decade of your life?

Somethings we don't wish to remember, while some becomes difficult to forget - those are probably some special or some disturbing memories beyond imagination. How do you plan to spend the next decade of your life?

Family time - exploring

For a normal human being, as each day goes by his dreams keep growing. But, most often it could not be achieved due to commitments. Coming from a simple middle class family, my parents were particular that we study well and get through. During those years, hobbies or passions, can never be pursued as careers.
Only study, study and study to secure a decent job.

Now-a-days, I could see either most of them pursue their passions as profession or choose a profession of their choice, which meant the end result is above expectations. And most of the parents too, co-operate and promote their children. Unlike my time, Children are given the freedom of choice.

To mention a few my hobbies included reading, writing a little, tailoring and knitting and finally gardening. All these I still continue but not full fledged only according to the availability of time.

Another interesting part is , many a times I have read those who can write cannot speak out and this has proved very correct in me. You need to speak out aloud but I can't. Hope another decade gives me a tine to improvise this.

My gardening- spinach

So, ten years from now , presently Iam 53 , I wish to lead a healthy lifestyle as of now. And may be I would like to convert atleast one of my passion as profession excluding gardening. For that I would like to thank this platform of enthusiast Hiveans, because I felt my writing skills are long lost but this platform genuinely gave me the opportunity to refresh them. Though, I felt a bit difficult and insecure èin the beginning now Iam at ease. Thanks to some supportive virtual friends, without whose presence I would have slided away from this platform.

Exploring different places.

Exploring places which we started recently, hope it continues even in the near future,. As life is short, the togetherness we spent while exploring is much more valuable in understanding more eachother. Very soon, my children, as they are completing their education, will go in search of a better career. But I wish the care and concern for eachother should remain within us.

Ten years ahead, is going to be another fruitful journey I believe. Yet, another challenging period as well, as I am getring older. Patience and perseverance being the main objective in getting things done from my young boys.

Also, I wish to give time for myself. Like spending the best of ny time with my friends, to attend to reunion among friends which I neglected due to my busy schedule and also it was conducted in different state, to spend some time with my old aged parents,

I wish myself and my hivean friends a beautiful and happy journey ahead.
